Christians must fight to enter into the peace of God. Christians are peacemakers because God has called them into a battle. Again not a battle with guns, swords, and knives. But a battle using spiritual weapons. A battle to fight the flesh. A battle to fight the devil. A battle against the world’s philosophies. A battle for the peace and purity of the church. A battle for their souls. A battle to enter the kingdom.

What do you do when you struggle with doubt or anxiety? Pastor Joseph preaches from Matthew 11 and shows that just like John the Baptist you look to Jesus. Remember His works and word. Forget your sins.

Do not be envious of the wicked. The reason that the wicked seem to flourish then has nothing to do with their own abilities or their own sin enabling good things, as if rebellion to God produces good. No it is because God in his kindness has not removed his hand yet and let them fall. God will judge the wicked but will uphold his people.

We may live in a democracy but in our hearts we are monarchists. That is we have a King and we live to see His name hallowed as glorious. This is our purpose as a church…
And as we do this work, we need a good strategy. No one goes to build something without first sitting down and coming up with a plan. You can try to wing it but you will come up with shoddy work. But if you are going to build something worthwhile you will have a plan and a strategy to complete that plan.
