Strong Men. Faithful Homes. Christ’s Kingdom.

At Sovereign King Church, we believe men matter. When men are weak, passive, isolated, confused, or cowardly, families suffer, churches suffer, and society suffers. But when men are strengthened in Christ, homes are built, wives are loved, children are trained, churches are protected, and communities are blessed.

We live in confused times. Men are surrounded by lies about truth, manhood, leadership, duty, and what makes a life worth living. Too often, they are handed shallow answers, soft leadership, and religious talk that never reaches real life. Hard men produce good times. Good times produce soft men. Soft men produce hard times. We are living in a soft age, and we want to help forge men who stand strong in the Lord for His glory, the good of their households, and the blessing of generations to come.

We want to be faithful men for hard times. Men who worship, repent, work, lead, protect, provide, sacrifice, speak the truth, fight sin, love their families, serve the Church, and stand firm in the world. We want to be men who build, fight, lead, and protect under the lordship of Jesus Christ.

We build up strong men who in turn build up faithful homes and advance Christ’s Kingdom.

A man’s faith does not stay with him alone. When a husband and father is serious about Christ, his home feels it. His wife is strengthened. His children are taught. His work changes. His speech changes. His priorities change. His home becomes more stable, more joyful, and more ordered under the Word of God.

That is why we do not want passive men at Sovereign King Church. We want men who take responsibility. We want men who show up for worship, open their Bibles, sing loudly, repent quickly, work hard, love their wives, train their children, serve the body, and stand beside their brothers. Men do not become faithful by accident. They need the Word of God, strong teaching, honest conversation, prayer, responsibility, real brotherhood, correction, encouragement, and examples worth following.

The King’s Council is our large quarterly men’s gathering.

This gathering is for men who want deep biblical truth, real brotherhood, and a clear call to live with courage under Jesus Christ. We gather for good food, strong teaching, honest conversation, earnest prayer, and brotherhood.

The King’s Council is meant to strengthen men in the truth of Scripture and call them to live with courage, conviction, and purpose under the lordship of Jesus Christ.

It is also a front door for men who need to be called up. Maybe a man is curious about Christianity. Maybe he is tired of shallow answers. Maybe he is drifting. Maybe he knows it is time to lead his home better, think more clearly, and live with greater purpose.

There is a seat at the table for him. Take your place at The King’s Council, and bring another man with you.

Genevan Pub

Genevan Pub is our monthly men’s gathering. We meet on the last Sunday of each month from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, usually at the church, at a pastor or elder’s home, or at the home of someone in the congregation. Men bring their own food and drinks. We smoke cigars, talk theology, debate honestly, laugh hard, and sharpen one another.

This is not a stiff classroom. It is men around a table or a firepit getting into the weeds, asking real questions, arguing things out, and building the kind of brotherhood that is getting harder to find.

Geneva Pub is strong meat, and that is a good thing. It is for men who want to grow in doctrine, wisdom, courage, and fellowship.

Every 3rd Sunday of the month

Men and Boys

We want our boys growing up around faithful men.

Boys need more than entertainment. They need fathers, elders, pastors, and older men who show them what it means to worship God, work hard, speak truth, protect the weak, honor women, repent of sin, and stand firm.

The church should be a place where boys see manhood in action. We want them growing up with examples worth following.

Other Men’s Events

Throughout the year, we also have other events for men and boys. These may include campouts, outdoor trips, whitewater rafting, work projects, fellowship nights, and other opportunities to build brotherhood and strengthen men.

Christian manhood is not merely sitting in a chair and listening. Men need worship, work, risk, discipline, fellowship, laughter, hardship, and brotherhood.

Come Join Us

If you are a man looking for a church where men are called upward, not coddled downward, Sovereign King Church may be the place for you.

We do not believe men need to be softened, scolded for not being womanly enough, or trained to sit quietly on the sidelines. We believe men need Jesus Christ, the Word of God, strong brotherhood, honest correction, real responsibility, and a clear call to worship, lead, serve, build, fight, and protect.

Come worship with us. Labor with us. Build with us. Fight beside us.

Join us as we confess Christ as King, proclaim His gospel reign, and construct according to His command.
